eduroam is the wireless roaming service used by the international research and education community. It is available across campus to visiting academics. The service uses the SSID eduroam with Wireless Protected Access (WPA2) and Enterprise level encryption (EAP).

Connect to the network

  • Click the AirPort menu
EduRoam 1

  • Select eduroam
EduRoam 2
  • Set User Name and Password to your credentials, for example
  • Select Remember this network
EduRoam 3
  • Click Continue

You are now connected.

NOTE: Leopard tries to connect with PEAP by default which is why connection is so simple. Since you are asked to remember the network your credentials are stored in the keyring, next time you want to connect simply select the network from the Airport menu and you are connected automatically.
