Accessing Documents and Drives

Please note that the HTML5 Citrix Receiver does not support mapping of your local drives. To enable this feature you will need to install the full Citrix Receiver.

There are two icons available from the Documents and Drives application menu on RAS. You can use these icons to browse and access your University Documents, and the Drives on your home computer (including any mapped drives on-campus). These windows also give you the ability to transfer files between home and campus.

Once opened you will be presented with a window like this giving you the ability to browse and access your University Documents.

My Drives

This will show the following drives:

  • Your University Documents - labelled as Documents (H:)
  • Your local drives mapped through from your own computer - in the example above the A, C, D and E drives. These will all be labelled as Disk Type (Letter: on COMPUTER), for example Local Disk (C: on JOHNS-PC)
  • If you have also directly mapped any other drives from within RAS, these will be shown as well. See Mapping Drives in RAS (FAQ 2.9) for further information.
