You may have noticed that NUService looks a little different. On 25 January we upgraded the system, bringing several benefits:
- It is easier to use with a fresh look and feel.
- You can quickly check your ticket status.
- There is more automation for quicker responses.
- Better reporting to help us make ongoing improvements.
The web address is the same, you can still log a request or a ticket for IT support at NUService at https://nuservice.ncl.ac.uk
Oops! Where is my ticket?
If you logged a ticket before the upgrade, it will not appear in this updated version. Don’t worry, we still have your request; NUIT colleagues are working to fulfil it. There is no need to resubmit your ticket.
If you would like to add an update to a ticket submitted before 25 January, please contact the IT Service Desk on 0191 208 5999.
Things to be Aware Of
As you are aware this has been a major upgrade, so it’s inevitable that we’ll meet some issues as we embed the new system. If you do need to let us know that something isn’t working, please contact the IT Service Desk to raise an IT incident. We’ll let you know as soon as this is resolved.

What happens next?
Over the coming months, we will be working hard to improve the quality and accessibility of our information. We will be adding our full catalogue of IT services and a new knowledge base to help you find the resources and answers you need.
