Update 11.30am Monday 22/07/24

Following the fire in Herschel Building on Monday 15 July, floors 1 and 2 remain closed, and are still without network access. All remaining floors are now open with full network access.

The Curtis Auditorium remains closed due to water damage. Please see below for information on floors 1 and 2:

First Floor: Power is estimated to be restored on 30 July. A specialist fire damage clean up team will start work week commencing 29 July,  working through to Friday 2 August. Once we have confirmation that power is restored, we can enter the building to restore network access.

Second Floor: Power has been restored on this floor. Fire damage cleaning will take place in 2.35a and 2.35b with ceiling tiles to be replaced in 2.35b. We will work to restore network access to this floor today.

Chubb will be replacing fire-damaged door access control panels this week. This is expected to take 5 days for completion. Following this work, all current door access issues will be resolved.

Thanks for your patience whilst we fix these issues, further updates will be posted here as we have them.
