Refreshed desktop backgrounds and lock screens

We are in the process of deploying new refresh desktop backgrounds and lock screens across all colleague-managed devices.

Why is this happening?

This update is part of the Wellbeing Desktop Screens initiative, developed by the Colleague Health and Wellbeing Team.

The new desktop and lock screen designs provide clear, accessible information on how to contact both the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Student Wellbeing Services.

What this means for you:

  • Your desktop background and lock screen will be updated automatically.
  • You will always have quick access to wellbeing support information, whether for yourself or to signpost students and colleagues.
  • No action is required from you.

When is this happening?

Deployment began in mid-August and will roll out to all colleague systems over the following weeks.
