Maintenance end date/time: Wednesday 19 August (13:00)

Users affected: Wi-Fi users connecting via a certificate

Details:

The Wi-Fi certificate for the SSIDs newcastle-university and eduroam will be updated during the maintenance period.

After the update is complete, users who connect to the Wi-Fi using a certificate will need to forget newcastle-university and eduroam before reconnecting to accept the new certificate.

However, users who originally selected "ignore certificates" will not be impacted. For further information on connecting to the Wi-Fi via a certificate, please visit our IT Service website.
