Disciplinary Procedures
The University expects all students to act responsibly, showing due consideration to other students, staff and visitors. Acts of misconduct are investigated in accordance with the Student Disciplinary Procedures.
All disciplinary cases are considered on their merits, but where students are found guilty of misconduct, fines (and other charges) may be imposed.
Fines and charges may vary, depending on specific circumstances for each case.
All cost-recovery charges will be used to cover repairs or replacements. All money raised from fines is credited to the University Hardship Fund – a fund for assistance for students in difficulties, administered by the Student Wellbeing Service.
