Contrast
It is important that there is good contrast between the font colour used and the background. For example red text on a green background will be much less visible than yellow text on a blue background.
However, bright white backgrounds on slides can be dazzling. It is recommended that pale cream or pale blue backgrounds are used as a background instead of white as a background to black text.
