Where sound or video clips are used it is important to consider the needs of deaf and blind users.

• Deaf and hard of hearing people will benefit from subtitles or a transcript of the item
• Blind users will benefit from an audio description of video content

For example, if a video clip is included in PowerPoint, it would be reasonable to expect either a text transcript (provided in the notes field), or for subtitles to be added to the clip.
