SAP Email Lists

These mailing lists are used by Business Applications in order to communicate easily with relevant groups of SAP users. (They are closed lists, so only the List Owners can send messages to them.)

It's important for all of us in the University to realise that ultimately we are all SAP users, such is the importance of SAP in the running of the institution. If you receive a message from one of these lists, it is because you are a user – or a potential user – of the relevant part of the SAP service.

Most people who don't realise that they are SAP users are using it via one of the portals (below).

This is a "Superlist", comprising these sub-lists:

All staff who have SAP installed on their PC (technically speaking: "who use the SAPgui to access SAP R3"). SAP R3 is used for Student Lifecyle Management, HR (including Manager's Desktop and Training and Events Management), Payroll, Finance and Sales. This list is automatically updated daily, based on staff records.

All staff who have access to the myWorkPlace Portal. The myWorkPlace Potal is used for online expenses, Procure to Pay (P2P), CRM Interaction Centre, Postgraduate academic selector, Student Information Gateway (SIG) and Business Warehouse (BW) reporting. This list is automatically updated daily, based on SAP records.
