The campus network provides the infrastructure to connect all networked computers together on campus. There are several ways to connect using both wired and wireless connections. The network also provides access to the Internet, support for secure solutions for data integrity, and backup links limit the impact of equipment failure.

The University’s data network is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and provides both wired and wireless connections.

  • Wired: staff offices, student halls of residence and some public areas.
  • Wireless: widely available across campus and in all University owned halls of residence.
