Access and Accounts

The Rocket HPC service is free at the point of use. Most grant applications should not include costs for use of the HPC service. However, in order to use Rocket, you will need to be a member of at least one registered HPC project. All subsequent members of a Project are automatically given a Rocket account.

Creating New Projects

To request the creation of a new Rocket HPC project, please complete and submit the Access - Register New HPC Project form.

Managing Project Members

Any person that is a member of at least one HPC Project will be able to login and access Rocket. HPC Project owners are able to add or remove members of their groups via Grouper - individual requests for additional new Rocket user accounts do not need to be submitted to NUIT. Accessing Rocket

Once a new HPC Project has been created for you, or you have been added to an existing Project, you can then connect to the service and begin to use the resources of the platform. Information on how to connect is available in the following sections:
