How do I set up my favourite printers?
If you regularly print to certain printers, you can choose to save them as favourites. The favourite printers will display on the My Print Jobs screen so that you don’t have to locate them from a dropdown menu. To setup a Favourite
- Click on the My Printers tab
- Check the box next to the printer(s) you want
- Give your printer a nickname (optional)
- Click on Save Changes.
How do I email a document to a specific printer?
Once you have created nicknames for your favourite printers you can email documents to them directly without needed to log on to the NUPrint web page.
- Compose your email as follows:
To nuprint@ncl.ac.uk
Subject Type P: followed by the printer nickname / description - Attach your document, and send the email
- Within a few seconds your document will print
The print status lists as 'Printed' but I can’t find my print out.
Please ensure you have enough print credit on your account and that you are sending your jobs to the correct printer, then try resubmitting your document.
I submitted a document earlier but it does not appear in my print queue?
Print jobs are removed from your NUPrint queue after 24 hours if you do not send them to a printer.
