Fault Reporting

If you encounter technical difficulties with the audio-visual facilities then please see below for the appropriate fault reporting process

FOR CENTRALLY SUPPORTED TEACHING SPACES

    • For emergency assistance telephone 82627 (or 0191 2082627 from a mobile) using the internal telephone provided; this should connect you directly to a member of the technical team. 

FOR NON-URGENT ISSUES OR FAULTS IN NON TEACHING SPACES 

    • Please Log a request via NU Service. Click Something Broken, then fill in the details ensuring you provide the building and room number where you discovered a fault. 

Please note that the IT Service are ONLY responsible for the audio visual/IT systems in rooms. 

Any faults related to room fabrics, furniture, heating or lighting must be raised with Estates Support Service (ESS).
