Use of the Smartcard will be subject to all current University student regulations and policies and all staff employment policies.

When used within specific areas of the University current local regulations will apply, e.g. library regulations within the Library.

The policy to wear Smartcard badges is not compulsory except in highly restricted areas, but it is hoped that by encouraging staff to wear ID it will reduce some security risks and help improve identification. Holders and lanyards for Smartcards can be obtained via your departmental office.

If you find a Smartcard, please hand it in at The Philip Robinson Library.
