Software Licence: Sketch Engine

Sketch Engine contains & analyzes text corpora to identify typical, rare, unusual or emerging usage in multiple languages. It is also designed for text analysis or text mining .  

University Owned Machines

This service is funded by NUIT. There will be no recharge to Schools for use.

The service is available via any web browser, using the following steps:

  • Browse to https://app.sketchengine.eu/
  • Select Institutional Login
  • Search for Newcastle University
  • Login using your university ID and password

Staff and Students' Personal Machines

There is no need to download any software.  The service can be accesssed from any browser.
