- NUIT will ensure the correct installation and that the application loads when opened.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) will be the responsibility of the software requester and we strongly recommend you to test any application that is going to be central to your teaching.
- We support over 5500 machines and there is a risk of issues with things like software conflicting or device having a hardware issue that we may not be able to spot remotely. So please report them via helpdesk.
- Applications that are not captured as part of the requirements gathering exercise in 2023 will not be included as part of this project. Software applications for individual research applications and individual software titles to produce teaching materials are out of scope of this project and need to requested via service desk tickets.
- Only the latest possible versions of applications will be made available.
