This software service is centrally funded. There will be no recharge to Schools for use.
The service is accessed via an internet browser from https://teaching.ncl.ac.uk/claro and does not require any installation.

Staff and Students' Personal Machines
The service is available for use from any PC, laptop, or mobile device. If you are off campus you will be asked to provide your username and password via the university's standard logon gateway.

Important Information
ClaroRead Cloud provides a number of web apps:
- ClaroRead Cloud OCR: conversion of documents (including photographs) to create plain text, accessible PDFs or Word format
- ClaroSpeak Web: reads text, and also offers dictation
- ClaroIdeas Web: mind mapping tool
- ClaroPDF Web: Reads accessible PDF files
