Microsoft 'Skype for Business' allows you to send and receive instant messages with colleagues, make and receive audio & video calls (additional equipment required for video and audio).

You can also collaborate on documents, show presentations and schedule online meetings. Skype for Business is closely linked to your Microsoft Outlook calendar so it can show colleagues your availability.  

Skype for Business is available as standard on all university staff PCs and available for use in a number of centrally supported meeting rooms on campus.
