These are currently the Samsung A23 for samrtphone @£270.00 (Hardware only) or @225.00 (on a new connection) and Nokia 110 @£58.00 (Hardware only) or @£24.00 (on a new connection).

Who can have a mobile phone?
The head of your school or service must authorise you to be provided with a mobile telephone or mobile broadband (MiFi).
As part of the ordering process, you must submit an internal purchase requisition which has been co-signed by the head of school or service to authorise your order.
How we provide mobile telephony:
(Contract Handset/Mobile Broadband)
Telecoms office are responsible for the procurement of mobile telephony on behalf of all staff within the university. The university has signed with Vodafone as its sole provider, as such we only provide services via Vodafone. Staff who are still connected via EE or O2 from previous contracts, will be moved to Vodafone.
(Handsets Only)
We are also responsible for procurement of mobile handsets without a Voice/Data contract (Handset Only). There are very limited number of circumstances in which you can purchase a handset Sim Free.
You will need to have your request approved by your head of service authorising the purchase, detailing the exact model and specifications of the handset you wish to purchase, AND why the handset is needed. You can not purchase a handset only from one supplier then request a sim only contract from Vodafone.
